At my core, I’m a storyteller, strategist, and brand builder with a passion for executing great ideas alongside great people. I’m an award-winning advocate recognized by the White House, Princeton University, and Teen Vogue, and I’m most passionate about building a world where BIPOC communites, young people, and women have what they need to thrive.
I’m a proud graduate of Howard University, where I studied psychology under professors at the forefront of Black mental wellness. I also studied political science and the healing of political trauma at Stellenbosch University in South Africa, the birthplace of apartheid. Upon graduation, I began my career at the United Nations Foundation, working with the Girl Up campaign to build a global movement for gender equality. Since then, I’ve gained extensive experience implementing programs and executing marketing and communications strategies across tech, financial services, Fortune 500 companies, sports teams, and universities.
When I’m not working, I enjoy reading non-fiction books about obscure topics, experimenting with stand-up comedy, and contemplating my next trip to Paris. The three most important things in my world are my friends, family, and baked goods, so you can usually find me ordering dessert with someone I love.
